Pipe Anti-Corrosion Repair Patches are specifically designed and developed for repairing damage to the polyethylene anti-corrosion coating on steel pipelines. These patches are composed of a radiation-crosslinked polyolefin substrate combined with a specialized sealing hot-melt adhesive. During installation, the patch is heated to melt the special hot-melt adhesive coating, achieving a tight bond with the damaged area. It integrates seamlessly with the original external polyethylene anti-corrosion layer of the pipeline, uniformly enveloping the pipe surface to form a continuous, tight anti-corrosion system. This system resists various forms of corrosion, including soil stress, hydrostatic pressure, cathodic delamination, chemical corrosion, and fungal erosion, providing long-term, effective protection for steel pipelines. Repair patches are primarily used to repair damage to the polyethylene external anti-corrosion layer of pipelines with two-layer or three-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion systems during transportation, inspection, and construction. This includes localized punctures, linear scratches, and small-area damage less than 100mm square. Repair rods are pure hot-melt adhesive rods used in conjunction with repair patches or for repairing minor impact points.
